ADS was founded in 2002 by Adrian Diaconu after he bought the logistics activity of the Grand Livre du Mois, a French club focused on literary news, generating at the time a turnover of €3.5 millions.
With his team of experts, Adrian Diaconu did his best to make ADS a mail order, e-commerce and multicanal logistics key player, by offering flexible and high added value benefits at variable costs.
ADS brings a custom solution adapted to volume and e-sellers activity complexity, enabling a precise order management.
ADS adapts its process to e-commerce constraints by respecting the needs of its clients. Definitely focused on international expansion, ADS opens the door to a development without borders.
ADS RAKUTEN IN FRANCE
More than 490 employees including 50 engineers and technicians who contribute daily to the group success.
A storage surface of 130 000 m² where more than 2 millions products are kept.
More than 24 million packages are prepared and shipped each year towards more than 100 worldwide destinations.

ADS has multiplied by 20 its turnover in 10 years, thanks to an internal growth and different buyouts:
- 2007: buyout of Evreux logistical unit
- 2013: buyout of Moissy-Cramayel logistical unit
- 2014: a 13000 m² extension of Beauvais’ logistical unit
ADS answers the needs of new commerce ambassadors by offering efficient, precise and new operationnal process aimed at international activities development.
On november 6th, 2012, Paris & Tokyo Rakuten (the third mondial e-commerce group) acquires ADS, French e-commerce logistics specialist.
This buyout (Rakuten’s first in the logistics field outside Japan) aims at generating synergies for the group’s european marketplaces, like PriceMinister in France. It gives ADS Rakuten a new dimension and the necessary push toward an international development.
